Measurement is around the widest part of the rib cage. Allow 2 fingers to fit between neck strap and dog's body.

Directions:
Measure the widest part of your dog's girth and consider weight for appropriate buoyancy. If on the higher end, size up. Since dogs come in various sizes and body shapes, make sure to take any other traits large shoulders, long torso, etc. into consideration
Place on dog and adjust straps for appropriate fit. Allow 2 fingers to fit between neck strap and dog's body.
