What is a Halti Head collar & how does it work?
The Halti stops dogs from pulling by steering the head so the body has to follow. It was invented in 1979 by Dr Roger Mugford and is approved and recommended by vets and canine professionals worldwide. Its unique patented design works by gently directing the dog’s head, steering him into the desired position, just as a head collar works to steer a horse. The Halti makes training and behavior modification of dogs practical and safe. It can be used in a number of ways: either as a passive means to simply stop dogs pulling or as an active training aid. Millions have been sold worldwide to grateful owners of pulling dogs.
What Makes the Halti Unique?
The Halti is made from lightweight, yet strong nylon webbing. It is designed for comfort and allows your dog freedom to pant and yawn.
Halti features a unique, on-off muzzling action to close the dog’s jaws, helping to give you greater control. All Halti 's now feature a padded nose band for extra comfort. The 'standard' Halti has neoprene padding and the 'padded' Halti , features leather padding. Each Halti comes complete with a free Halti Safety Link that connects to the dog’s collar, for extra security and a comprehensive fitting and training guide.
